Here in the Black Forest there are springs of very special water which were used even by the monks of old to brew beer of unmatched quality. This tradition has continued up to the present day, as evidenced by the Glauner family who have operated their private brewery in Alpirsbach for generations. Using the same brewing techniques as the monks and the soft, pure, clear water, Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu is a beer that is as proud as the name it carries.

Along with the classic, Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu Spezial , the wide assortment also includes Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu Pilsner, Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu black Pilsner and the Klosterbräu speciality, Naturtrüb, Weizen Hefe-Hell, Weizen Hefe-Dunkel, Weizen Kristallklar and the Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu seasonbeers Martini-Bock and Weihnachtsbier.
