Beer passion for nine generations.

The Hütt brewery is the only middle class private brewery in the Kassel area. It has been family owned for nine generations and beer has been brewed here at the Knallhütte since 1752.

Our varied selection of beer is appreciated by every beer fancier in the north of Hesse. Each of our specialities has a distinguished feature who can be enjoyed by individual tastes and at all kinds of moods. Whether it’s being around friends, having a dinner for two, big occasions, after work or exercise as a treat for working hard or for a real successful day – there’s always a reason to enjoy a beer.

For more than 250 years our private brewery has been brewing several beer specialities for the North of Hesse.

We always take our bearings on the local taste and the people who live here. Our strong relationship with people and the area also shows, when we award contracts in this area. That way we support the local economic circle and the money stays in our habitat.

Hütt and the area belong together. We like to campaign for that. Day by day. Even though a lot has changed in the past two and a half centuries, one thing hasn’t changed at all. First cold and with drawn and then the upright and original character surprises. That’s what we’re like in the north of Hesse and that’s how we love our beer.
