Our home is the Berchtesgadener Land - one of the most beautiful regions of Upper Bavaria.

The brewery was first mentioned in legal documents in the year 1666. It has been owned by the Wieninger family since 1813. We are the largest brewing operation and market leader in southeastern Bavaria.

We annually distribute 250,000 hectoliters of beverages which include an assortment of beers and non-alcoholic drinks which we produce ourselves. We also operate a subsidiary chain of retail beverage markets.

Due to our proximity to the national border, we have an above-average proportion of exports to Austria and Italy, more than 20%.
