Offenburg

The company was founded in 1847 by Theodor Braun in Oberkirch. After several mergers, Kronenbrauerei was established in 1928 in Offenburg and since then has been owned by the Gille/Nitze/Stetter family.

1979 saw the addition of the Kronen brewery in Hornberg, in 1993 the Wagner brewery in Offenburg was opened as well as a beverage logistics center in Kempf.

Approximately 100,000 hectoliters of beer and 10,000 hectoliters of non-alcoholic beverages are produced and a total of 200,000 hectoliters of beverages are marketed mainly between Karlsruhe and Freiburg.

The gastronomic sector is a major factor of the operation; the company owns 65 restaurants.
