Rosenbrauerei Pößneck GmbH was founded in 1866. Since 1992 it is once again owned by the founding Wagner family. The managing director is Mr. Nicolaus Wagner.

In the last 10 years, the brewery and its technical plant have been completely modernized with investments ranging in the millions.

The reward for these efforts are numerous DLG (German Agricultural Association) awards, which include DLG prizes in Gold for Schwarze Rose and Rosen Pilsner.
