Stieglbrauerei zu Salzburg
Salzburg
"Stieglbrauerei zu Salzburg", founded in 1492, is a traditional family-owned enterprise which places emphasis on taste and sort variety, best quality and regional brands. The brewage is predominantly realized with Austrian commodities. Water for the brewage is taken from the local mountain called "Untersberg". Malting barley comes from "Wildshut" (brewery-tied agriculture), and also from "Weinviertel". Hops are taken from "Mühlenviertel".
"Stieglbrauerei zu Salzburg", the biggest private Austrian brewery, especially supports the fields of sport, art and culture and feels responsible for the environment (among others, Austrian alliance for climate protection).
Since 1995, "Stiegl-Brauwelt" ("Stiegl brewage world") has been creating enthusiasm to beer fans from all over the world. Within the biggest themed environment, beer fans are given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of beer on 5000 m2. Moreover, the beer garden in the court of the brew house invites people to taste the different "Stiegl" beer specialities on tap.
